PHLI has helped me a lot in preparing me to study abroad. From English studies to going deep into spirituality, I felt that I was well equipped. At PHLI, one learned how to communicate well, build relationships with friends and teachers, and the skills needed to master English. Papua Hope also introduced me to some great universities. From Corban University, Seattle Pacific University, to Rhode Island University, and others. Along with introducing these universities, they helped me through the registration process and transportation to the University.

Jaime Koch, Development Coordinator and Alumni Contact Person
Papua Hope’s support for its students continues far beyond their graduation from PHLI. Jaime Koch, our alumni contact person, provides graduates with coaching for self-advocacy and general communication support. Alumni students are also offered mentorship, provided through current PHLI faculty and staff.
Papua Hope Alumni Services offers follow-up support for students as they finish University in the U.S and plan their return to Papua by helping them find strategic roles as they continue to grow as servant leaders. Through Alumni Support, PHLI aims to provide students with all the tools they need to succeed in Papua, the U.S, and in life.
